AUDITIONS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. You do not have to be a Lane student or a Lane Theatre
major to audition.
Auditions are from 5:00-8:00 in the Ragozzino Performance Hall on Lane’s main campus in Eugene
on Wednesday, January 24th and Thursday, January 25th.
Prepare up to one minute of a song stylistically similar to Heathers that showcases your voice and
bring your own recorded accompaniment and a standard (not iPhone) auxiliary cord. A speaker
will be provided (but it can’t hurt to bring your own). Be prepared for a movement audition (dress
accordingly, including shoes…). No need to prepare a monologue, you will read scenes from the
script.
Performance dates are May 2-5. Rehearsals will be evenings and some weekends. Music rehearsals
will begin late February. Rehearsal schedule will be based on actor availability.
No, you do not have to look like a high school student. Parts are available for numerous actors of
various ages, types, races, and gender identities. We value diversity in casting.
Strong singers needed for lead roles. Actors who are willing to give it their all needed for chorus
roles.
Please email haimbachb@lanecc.edu to sign up for either the 24th or 25th. If you cannot arrive by
5:00 please let us know. You only need to come to one day of auditions.
If you are under 18 years of age, you will need a guardian to sing your audition form at auditions.
At this time, it looks like the 24th is going to be much busier than the 25th. If you can make the 25th
work, you will probably be standing around a lot less time waiting to audition.
