Free Food Resource List: Main Campus

Because no student should have to study on an empty stomach!

By Savanna Ferguson, edited and updated for print by Torch staff

Correction: a previous version of this article incorrectly showed that the “Snacks and Scholarships” events take place in Building 1 Room 114. This is incorrect. The “Snacks and Scholarships” events take place in various locations, Building 1 Room 114 is the office of Tina Hunter and does not provide snacks to the student body.

Lane Community College’s main campus has a few spots where students can get free food. This list helps students find places to receive free food on campus. This list was created by the Success to Academic Readiness (STAR) Program student peer mentor Savannah Ferguson during Fall term 2024. Updated for Fall Term 2025. Most of the food on this list was paid for by the Student Activity Fee.
