City of Eugene puts up lights for holiday spirit.
With Covid regulations in mind it is still possible to have a festive holiday season this year without gathering loved ones from arrayed households. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has provided extensive guidelines for gathering around the holidays, but ultimately urges folks to stay safe, and stay home.
From Nov. 20 through Dec. 3 Lane County testing facilities have reported 1,004 new cases of COVID-19. Lane County has experienced a total of 5,183 cumulative cases of COVID-19, and a total of 62 deaths as of December 10th, 2020.
Veneta Fern Ridge City of Commerce will be hosting a “Reverse Parade” on Dec. 10 from 6:30 p.m. till 8 p.m. The parade contributors will be stationary as guests drive through in their cars observing the fun displays made for the public. Event details can be found on their Facebook page.
If you’ve got $5 burning a hole in your pocket there is limited availability of tickets to see the Lights at The Villa Green in Cottage Grove. The display will be around through the end of the month, heaters and covered tents with food & drink will be available for purchase and social distance guidelines will be implemented.
