The coronavirus is slowing down our lives and bringing a lot of problems. We are being locked up in our homes, but that’s not enough protection from the outside world. Some of us are still going to work and we still need to get our groceries and other supplies. The virus is not only affecting our physical health but also our mental health from being trapped in our homes.

By not knowing how many people have the virus, we don’t have the chance to stop the spread. Everyone who is concerned about having the illness, or are afraid that they have been exposed, should have the right to be tested. It’s not okay that people are living in fear of not knowing. The FDA has a plan, but if we don’t lay the pressure on them, the situation isn’t going to be any easier. The number of cases in Oregon is still growing and if other countries can tackle this situation in effective ways than we can too.
