The Lane Community College Scholarship Office continues efforts to support students beyond the fall term by offering multiple workshops over winter break. These sessions are designed to guide students through the scholarship application process, providing individual assistance and practical tips with snacks provided.
Led by Tina Hunter and her team, the Scholarship Office has worked diligently throughout the fall to host workshops that help students understand how to apply for scholarships, write essays, and identify what scholarship committees look for in applications.
The winter break workshops will focus on applications for the 2025-26 LCC Foundation, Ford Family Foundation, and OSAC scholarships. Each session includes an overview of available opportunities and hands-on support for starting online applications, including the help of writing tutors who review applications.
