Spring term at Lane Community College officially begins on Monday, April 6, with many students still wondering how the online transition will impact them.
On Friday, April 3, LCC will host an online student town hall from 2-3 p.m. Questions concerning registration, financial aid, tuition and fees, student health clinic services, technology resources and housing are encouraged from students as LCC continues to navigate changes to spring term due to COVID-19.
LCC students can submit their questions to townhall@lanecc.edu or during the event.
Instructional methods aren’t the only thing that’s changing in the wake of COVID-19. As a result of social distancing restrictions, Lane Transit District has also announced significant changes in bus routes. As of Sunday, March 29, LTD had suspended Sunday service and will be operating at an “enhanced Sunday-level of service with expanded hours to core routes.”
In regard to its paratransit service, RideSource, LTD announced that it will be operating for “regular Sunday service Monday through Saturday for only essential trips.” In addition to this alteration, “RideSource will operate a Sunday-level service for medically essential trips only.”
