The 2021 Collegiate Award Ceremony, hosted by the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association, was a virtual event this year. The Torch took home several awards in multiple categories. Reporter Michael Stahler won first place for Best Feature Story and first place for Best Review. He also took home third place for Best Spot News Story. Multimedia specialist John Adair won second place for Best Spot News Story, and David Galbreath took third for Best Sports Story. The entire Torch Staff also took home third place for Best Series.
