The Respite and Recovery Center is a place where students can come in and destress during their day. There is coffee, tea, and snacks, massage chairs, light boxes (for people struggling with Seasonal Affectiveness Disorder) and Ipads with various apps loaded on them including Tao Connect which has mental health topics. Located in the Health Clinic, a wellness component is available to meet the physical and emotional needs of students.

The Mental Health and Wellness Center offers free and confidential counseling from licensed clinicians. Additionally, there are de-stress activities like crafts and coloring, but also books providing information on addiction, nutrition, wellness and mental health.

The Respite Center is hosting their grand opening on Wednesday Feb. 15 from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The Mental Health and Wellness Center is located in Building 18.
