Everyone take a deep breath. We made it through week one. A lot of things have changed in our Titan community over the last year. A lot has stayed the same.

One thing that has not changed is COVID-19’s ability to throw a wrench in things. To date, 700,000 Americans have died from COVID-19, making it the deadliest pandemic in American history. According to a New York Times article published Oct. 1, 2021, 675,000 people died from the influenza pandemic of 1918 and 1919.

What does that mean for us Titans? It means we have a few restrictions in place to keep us safe. Even sometimes from ourselves. Here is a breakdown of Lane Community College’s COVID-19 safety procedures and vaccine requirement information.
