Welcome to Week 2, Titans. Hopefully by now everyone has settled into a good groove that will move them through a successful term. The Titan Newsletter has a lot of good information in it about asymptomatic COVID-19 testing, the Lane Community College Presidential search, a virtual resources fair, and much more.

Covid is still here and LCC is working to make sure our campus stays safe. An email should be coming soon regarding the vaccination requirements, but as an encouragement for getting the shot LCC is offering 300 students a prize of $500. Proof of vaccination is required to qualify. The Student Vaccination Form is being updated and will be available soon.

Students will also have access to COVID-19 testing on campus Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. These tests will be available until Oct. 26 and are only for students without any symptoms. Sign up here for the next testing day on Oct. 5.

LCC will have a vaccine clinic open for any student who needs their shot, the dates will be Oct. 4, 7, 11, and 14. Head to the Titan Newsletter to sign up for one of those dates. LCC wants to hear from you about why you chose to get vaccinated, click here to share your reasons.

Register here for the Virtual Resources Fair being held on Oct. 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Gender Equity Center is providing free menstrual cups to students who need them. Cut back on waste and save some money by requesting one here. Students with children can request assistance with child care. Pell-Grant eligible students may receive help in paying for up to 80% of their child care costs. Contact the Lane Child and Family Center for more information.

The Rainy Day Food Pantry will be opening its doors again this year, they will be open on Tuesdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Fill out this form at least 1 day before you arrive to pick up your pre-assembled food box.
